Our Story

There is no doubt our Lord and Savior loves his church. That love and devotion was present in the heart of Mr. Neil Anderson who had a vision to build a church in Henry County and call it "The Ole Country Church."

The church began in the home of Pastor Anderson and ground was eventually broken in order to build what is now the church building in 2000.

There have been many that have entered the doors, many lives have been changed and souls have been saved. Brother Anderson began inviting gospel groups to come and share their ministry to church members and the community and that tradition remains today. The Heirborn Quartet was the first group to come while the church was still meeting at Brother Anderson's home and they still remain faithful and come to the church twice a year, with "Homecoming" being a specific day they join us year after year.

Through trials and tribulation God has proven He will take care of and bless his children. Though we face changes daily here on earth; God is still on the throne. He is in control and has not changed. We look to Him as we continue our journey and embrace new beginnings. We are working together to ensure The Ole Country Church is stronger than ever; a light set on a hill. We are constant in prayer for God's will, direction, and protection as we move forward with excitement of what the future holds.

The Ole Country Church is God's house; a place we come to worship and serve our Lord. We praise Him and thank him for all he has done and all he is going to do. We know His plan is perfect; we just have to be patient in his timing and trust his guidance.

Now we invite you to enter the doors; may our love for Him shine through as we greet all who enter with a warm welcome and may His spirit abound as we grow in our Christian walk together as a family; the family of God.
